Make A Good 1st Impression

You can only make a first impression once, so let’s get it right. From when a new customer enters the stand, you’ll need to be your best self and provide a service and introduction they won’t forget.

Making a lasting impression is what will ensure your company stands out from the crowd. When the event is done, you need to be sure they’ll remember you, so giving them that extra flare of personality and showing what you have to offer can only be a positive.

Simple parts of your greeting, manner and attention to detail will be spotted, so you can never be too prepared for these important encounters which could transform your customer base.

Here’s some tips on the things we notice when attending events and hopefully you can implement them too!

Dress to impress

In a business environment and a room brimming with professionals, looking the part will get you a long way. Dressing smartly will work its magic with others, as well as on yourself. If you’re feeling good and you’ve got a good vibe, the ease to welcome guests and converse will come with ease.

Dressing to impress will set the right tone and allow you to work the room.

Time Keeping

There’s nothing worse than being late, other than the impression this leaves. Working with others that have great time keeping skills shows trust and reliability.

If your event starts at 10am, make sure you’re there at least 15 minutes before to find your bearings and have a walk around.

Using First Names

Once you’ve been introduced and the conversation is in full swing, using the first name is a great way to bring people closer. In addition, using the first name shows just the right amount of familiarity.

Be Yourself

One of the easiest ways to make a good impression is to be yourself. By keeping true to your self and your personality you’ll provide consistent conversations and they’ll be buying in to the right person/business.
